eFootball World Championships is the official global eFootball championship organized by Konami, the publisher of the series. Established in France in the early 2000s, the competition later expanded internationally and has been directly managed by Konami since 2010. Historically, it served as the official 1v1 esports world championship for the Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) franchise.
