Overview
Sacroiliitis is a condition caused by inflammation within the sacroiliac (SI) joint, where the base of the spine, and the pelvis, connect. The term "sacroiliitis" combines the words sacrum, ilium, and the Latin term "itis", which denotes inflammation.
