Overview
Surya Kant is an Indian jurist and the 53rd Chief Justice of India. Prior to his elevation as judge, Kant was a Senior Advocate and has served the Advocate General for Haryana. He is also the visitor of National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi, and the ex officio patron-in-chief of National Legal Services Authority.
