Overview
The 2001 Unforgiven was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the World Wrestling Federation. It was the fourth annual Unforgiven and took place on September 23, 2001, at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was the last Unforgiven held before the introduction of the brand extension in March 2002 and also the final Unforgiven held under the WWF name as the promotion was renamed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in May 2002.
