Tecnotree Corporation is a Finnish telecommunications software company founded in 1978 and headquartered in Espoo, Finland. The company is a provider of full-stack Digital Business Support System (BSS) solutions for Communications Service Providers (CSPs) and Digital Service Providers (DSPs) worldwide. Tecnotree is listed on the Nasdaq Helsinki stock exchange under the ticker symbol TEM1V.
With over 40 years of domain expertise, Tecnotree serves operators across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (MEA), and Asia Pacific (APAC). Tecnomen itself was founded in 1978 and was headquartered in Espoo, Finland,[2] where Tecnotree's headquarters are also based.

History
Founding and Early Years (1978–2007)
The company was originally founded as Tecnomen in 1978. Its first premises were in a storeroom of a milk shop in Helsinki before moving to Espoo, at Kuunkehra 4. The company's initial focus was on industrial control systems, including a control system for glass-tempering machines sold to Tamglass. Telecommunications operations began with an automated system for measuring telephone traffic, and the first paging system was delivered to Swisscom.
Acquisition of Lifetree and Rebranding (2008–2010)
In 2008, Tecnomen acquired Indian telecommunications software company Lifetree Convergence Pvt Ltd for USD 46 million. The combined entity was initially rebranded as Tecnomen Lifetree before being renamed Tecnotree in 2010. The acquisition expanded the company's footprint into emerging markets across Africa, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific.
Product Evolution and BSS Leadership (2011–2021)
In this period, Tecnotree launched @Bility, which integrated billing, charging, and Value-Added Services (VAS) into a single platform, making Tecnotree the first end-to-end BSS provider in the telecom industry. This was followed by the launch of Agility, an open-source digital BSS stack, which enabled the decomposition of monolithic BSS architectures into modular, cloud-native components. The company also introduced the Moments B2B2X multi-experience digital marketplace and the DiWa financial services platform for digital payments and fintech services.
Acquisition of Cognitive Scale (2022)
In December 2022, Tecnotree acquired the assets of CognitiveScale (CS), an enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) platform company based in the United States.[4] CognitiveScale's Cortex platform is an AI engineering software used for enterprise application development and customer data personalization.[5] At the time of acquisition, the platform provided services to an estimated 100 million users across the healthcare, commerce, insurance, real estate, and fintech industries in the United States.[4] The asset purchase transferred all intellectual property to Tecnotree, including 108 granted patents, intended to develop Tecnotree's AI-driven capabilities and support its compliance with TM Forum Open API standards.[4][5]

US Market Entry and Restructuring (2023–2024)
Between 2023 and 2024, Tecnotree undertook a strategic restructuring to exit high-risk frontier markets inherited from the Lifetree acquisition and to focus on Tier 1, dollar-denominated markets. The company also retired non-telecom business units in the United States acquired through Cognitive Scale, concentrating resources on its core BSS and AI product lines.
A landmark breakthrough was achieved with a Tier 1 telco deal in the United States in collaboration with a leading Systems Integrator, validating Tecnotree's TM Forum standards investment and AI-driven transformation capabilities. Net sales from the Americas grew by 46% in 2024 to EUR 14.6 million.

Corporate Governance
